During the summer of 2015, our content and alignment experts analyzed each state's standards. As a result, custom learning progressions now map the unique skills sequence needed for students to achieve mastery in your state.

Core Progress learning progressions map the inter-related prerequisite skills needed to further conceptual understanding and include resources to help students achieve mastery. Two editions are available for both reading and math—Core Progress and Core Progress Built for Common Core—to optimize alignment with each state’s standards.

Since 2007, Core Progress learning progressions have undergone rigorous empirical analysis and continuous improvement. Using dynamic calibration and response data from thousands of students, skill items are ordered and cross-linked into a mapping of skills that build on each other and serve as prerequisites to one another.
